Patrick Starremans, PhD is an Associate Director and head of the process analytics group at Voyager Therapeutics. He completed his formal training in the Netherlands and has a BSc in Biochemistry from Zuyd University of Applied Sciences (NLD), a MSc in Medical Biology and a PhD in Medical Sciences from the Radboud University in Nijmegen (NLD). He completed his post-doctoral training at Harvard Medical School before transitioning to industry holding tenures of increasing responsibility at Genzyme Corp., Erotic GmbH, Mitobridge Inc. and now Voyager Therapeutics Inc. During his career he worked in various disease areas and transitioned gradually from Discovery and In-Vitro Pharmacology to Analytical Development, always with an emphasis on cell based bio-assay development. At Voyager he and his team support various internal and external CMC and Analytical Development activities for their (pre)clinical development portfolio of Neurological Disease programs.
